Located on the Loop in Old Ingram, Texas. is artist Steven Nappers' Studio. The studio is filled with beautiful landscapes and portraits that make you feel like you just stepped back in time. The majestic Guadalupe River runs across the backyard, while birds' sing in the beautiful patio area. Not just a gallery/studio, but a sanctury for creative energies

A signature member of the prestigious Pastel Society of America since 1981, Steven has a fondness for this medium over all others. The spontanety and freshness of the colors are unmatched. Public recognition of his pastels and his ability as a teacher has made him a favorite among collectors and students.

Standing out as an accomplished portrait painter, Steven has incorporated landscapes intp his portfolio more these past few years. The love of nature has found him painting Plein air (on site) more and more; recognition of the quality of his work came with the acceptance as one of the first signature members of the Rocky Mountain Plein Air Painters.

Currently Steven is bringing his oil paints out of retirement and will be creating new pieces from oils, he is also starting to work with clay to hopefully create several new bronze sculptures.

Keep an eye out for new creations!
